Blue Ridge Refrigeration, Inc. a commercial refrigeration company seeks to fill a full-time, benefited Service Technician position with a minimum of 3 years experience in the HVAC and/or Refrigeration field. Technicians are required to live within a 25 mile radius to Asheville, NC. Must be certified to handle refrigerant, have a valid NC driver’s license, and own basic hand tools. Applicant must be willing to work 40 hours a week with some overtime calls when necessary and be able to rotate calls with other technicians. Ability to climb ladders and do physical labor related to this field and style of repair work and installation are essential. Salary will depend on experience.

Company allows opportunities for advancement with company paid training and seminars related to this field of work. Honesty and the willingness to work are vital to this position and a 90-day trial period is required to verify that applicant is able to fill this position adequately. Company uniforms and a service vehicle are provided along with tools such as torches, vacuum pumps, scales etc.

★Paid portal to portal (start to finish, including wait time between jobs)

★Consistent schedule (7:45 – 4:30 Mon-Fri) with opportunities for overtime

★Technicians rotate being “on-call” approximately every 5 weeks at the moment.  

   This rotation starts on a Monday and ends Sunday night (runs for 1 week)

★We order/track parts for Technicians

Field Assistants are required to live within a 25 mile radius to Asheville, NC. Must have a valid NC driver’s license. Applicant must be willing to work 40 hours a week with some overtime, when necessary. Ability to climb ladders, operate power tools and do physical labor related to this field and style of installation and repair are essential. Salary will depend on experience.
